In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Praise be to God, and may God's prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of God, his family and companions, and those who are guided by his guidance. As for what follows:
There is no doubt that the use of magic is a great abomination, rather it is polytheism, if it is known that it is using the jinn, asking them, and claiming that it is the knowledge of the unseen, and that it is such and such, and it occurs so and so, all of this is from the major polytheism. مَا تَتْلُوا الشَّيَاطِينُ عَلَى مُلْكِ سُلَيْمَانَ وَمَا كَفَرَ سُلَيْمَانُ وَلَكِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ كَفَرُوا يُعَلِّمُونَ النَّاسَ السِّحْرَ [البقرة:102] فجعلهم كفارًا بتعليم الناس السحر، ثم قال: وَمَا أُنزِلَ عَلَى الْمَلَكَيْنِ بِبَابِلَ هَارُوتَ وَمَارُوتَ وَمَا يُعَلِّمَانِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ حَتَّى يَقُولا إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ فِتْنَةٌ فَلا تَكْفُرْ [البقرة: 102] يعني: حتى يقول الملكان: إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ فِتْنَةٌ فَلا تَكْفُرْ [البقرة:102] دل على الكفر فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنْهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُونَ بِهِ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهِ وَمَا هُمْ بِضَارِّينَ بِهِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلا يَنفَعُهُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمُوا لَمَنْ اشْتَرَاهُ [البقرة: 102] means: he will be compensated for what he has in the afterlife of goodness [Al-Baqarah: 102] meaning: from luck and no share, and evil is what is evil, and it is through them that they themselves, if only they knew, and if they had believed and feared, they would have a reward from God against faith.” [Al-Baqarah: 103] Khair is the opposite of faith.
What is required in any case is to beware of this matter, and if it is in an Islamic country, it is governed by Sharia. The law of God - this sorcerer - had to judge him to be killed; Because sorcerers may be killed, as Omar wrote to his workers in the Levant: to kill every sorcerer and witch.
Witches ruled killing for their disbelief. Because they worship the jinn, and seek their help in harming people and in oppressing people.
As for sorcery, it needs elaboration. He must know what sorcery is. If he claims to have knowledge of the unseen - the sorcerer - claims that he is a priest, and that he steals hearing, then this is from the type of magician, he claims knowledge of the unseen; His rule is the rule of a magician, who claims to have knowledge of the unseen; disbelief
But if it is a sorcery other than this, sorcery by lying to people, saying: You see the shop you are asking for... So-and-so, and you see your car in the lost shop of So-and-so , your camel in So-and-so, he lies to them, otherwise he is what he claims to know the unseen, but he lies... He says He is with signs, then traces, and otherwise other evidence indicates that. This is called a sorcerer, and it is not legal in such a case to ask him, nor to come to him if he knows sorcery and lies, he should not be asked; Because he is included in the clairvoyants, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, says: Whoever goes to a fortune-teller and asks him about something; The prayer of forty nights was not accepted for him. In the other wording: Whoever goes to a fortune-teller or a soothsayer and believes what he says; He disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.
This fortune-teller who claims that he knows things, I call him knowledge of the unseen ... with such-and-such of so-and-so, and it will happen on such-and-such day, and the moon will be eclipsed on such-and-such day, and he does not have news of the reckoning, rather he claims to have knowledge of the unseen, or that so-and-so dies on such-and-such day, or He gets hurt .
What is meant: the claim of the knowledge of the unseen, this fortune-teller who claims this ruling is the rule of magicians, a disbeliever - we ask God for well-being - so he must repent, and if he repents or else he will be killed, and the rule: everyone who claims knowledge of the unseen; be an infidel; Because God says: Say, “No one in the heavens and the earth knows the unseen except God.” [An-Name: 65]
It is the Almighty who knows the unseen, so whoever claims to know the unseen; disbelief, and whoever engages in witchcraft; blasphemy Because by using magic, he worships the jinn, and uses them in his needs from harming people, or taking their money, or something similar to that he does because of his claim of magic. yes.
Like this astrologist who worships the stars and seeks help from the stars, and sees that he knows the unseen through the stars, he will repent, if he repents, otherwise he will be killed; Because claiming the knowledge of the unseen is blasphemy, whether from the way of the stars, or from the way of the jinn, or otherwise, or from any way, we ask God for well-being.
