As for amulets other than the Qur’an, such as bones, talismans, farewells, wolf hair, and the like, these are reprehensible and forbidden by the text. For his saying, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: Whoever wears an amulet, then God will not complete it for him, and whoever wears a meekness, then God will not let him go, and in a narration: Whoever wears an amulet has committed shirk.
As for if it is from the Qur’an or from well-known and good supplications, then the scholars differed about it.
The second saying: It is not permissible, and this is what is known on the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud and Hudhayfah, may God be pleased with them, and a group of the predecessors and the successors. Because the hadeeths that forbid amulets are general hadeeths, they did not exclude anything. What is obligatory is to follow the general rule, so none of the amulets are permissible in the first place. Because that leads to the suspension of others and confusion.
Everyone must be prevented, and this is the correct evidence for it.
If we permitted the amulet from the Qur’an and from the good supplications, the door would open and everyone would hang whatever he wanted, and if he was denied it, he would say: This is from the Qur’an, or these are from the good supplications, then the door would be opened, the rag widened and all the amulets would be worn.
And there is a third reason, which is: that it may enter the toilet and places of filth, and it is known that the word of God is far from that, and it is not appropriate for it to enter the toilet [1].
